What differentiates my book from others in this genre? – Mesopotamian texts

Comprehensive Study of the Origin of Humankind is a reliable non-fiction work based not only on Mesopotamian texts but also on other ancient books and supported by archaeology and science. What distinguishes my work is that I relied solely on translations made by real experts in ancient languages. Some of the experts are Samuel Noah Kramer, John Maier, Jeremy A. Black, Benjamin J. Foster, Stephanie Dalley, William G. Lambert, Alan Ralph Millard, and George Smith.  They decoded many of the complex languages which are no longer in use such as Sumerian.  For each text, there are several translations and the interesting thing is that all coincide with the meaning of the text. However,  academic institutions have classified as mythology the parts of these texts that do not match the accepted and conventional history. Mythology is literature that deals with the gods, demigods, and legendary heroes of particular ancient people.

No other researcher has given these documents the merit they deserve. The stories in the Book of Genesis are strikingly similar to the story contained in the Mesopotamian texts such as the creation story and a detailed description of Noah and the great Flood. These facts prompted extensive research and analysis of the ancient texts. As a result we uncovered a wealth of information. The texts reported about the existence of the Anunnaki gods. The findings in this investigation indicate that it is not fiction as scholars and authors has reported. There is enough evidence that can attest the probability that the events reported in the ancient texts in fact occurred.

The Sumerian civilization – Mesopotamian texts

The Sumerian civilization was the first society to emerge more than 5,000 years ago in southern Mesopotamia. It was a civilization with advanced knowledge in science and technology and laid the foundations for society as we enjoy it today. Among the many achievements, a writing system called cuneiform stands out and they also created a schematic way of recording information on clay tablets. The number of cuneiform tablets, the Mesopotamian texts, currently excavated in modern times by archaeologists, fluctuates between half a million and two million tablets. The largest collection is in the British Museum which houses about 130,000 tablets. The rest of the tablets are in different museums around the world, such as the Vorderasiatisches Museum Berlin, the Louvre, the Museum of Archaeology in Istanbul, the National Museum in Iraq, the Babylonian Collection of Yale and the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.

The Library – Mesopotamian texts

Ashurbanipal was the last king of the Neo-Assyrian Empire, he was literate and fluent in both the Akkadian and Sumerian languages, and his Library was a treasure trove of information. It was located at the archaeological site of Nineveh, the capital of Assyria, currently in northern Iraq. Archaeologist Sir Austen Henry Layard discovered it in the southwestern ruins of King Sennacherib’s palace in 1849. Three years later, his assistant Hormuzd Rassam discovered a similar collection on the opposite side of King Ashurbanipal’s palace. The Ashurbanipal Royal Library includes the first literary texts. Scholars and scribes collected and copied the ancient texts from the Neo-Assyrian Empire, mainly Babylonian. The palace and library were destroyed by fire at Nineveh in 612 BCE. The high temperatures of the event helped to preserve the tablets. The collection in the British Museum consists of more than 30,943 tablets, most of which have not been translated.

Archaeologists dated the origin of the tablets to around the 30th century BCE. The Book of Genesis stories were compiled around the 10th century BCE. The similarity between the texts and the Book of genesis suggests the probability that the Mesopotamian texts were the used as a reference by the Hebrew scribes. . Due to the wide variety of languages, sometimes the name had a meaning and reflected the achievements of the heroes, their titles, or ranks. This fact often complicated the understanding of the texts since the individual may be known by different names. For example, in the case of the hero of the Flood, Noah, his name in Sumerian is Ziusudra, Utnapishtim in Babylonian, Xisouthros in Greek, and Atrahasis in Akkadian. It is the same story, the same hero but in different languages, times, and cultures.

Cylinder seals – Mesopotamian texts

Sumerian remained the official language of documents for thousands of years and was the first and only language on Earth until humanity had to start speaking and communicating in numerous languages. The cuneiform system was used to record about 15 different languages. Some were Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Elamite, Hittite, Urartian, and Old Persian. After the demise of the Sumerian Empire, it remained in use even as the spoken language disappeared from the daily lives of the people. Literacy was widespread among the population, and students studied and copied the Sumerian texts that later influenced Babylonian literature.

Mesopotamian texts (Sumerian Tablet) where the complex cuneiform writing can be appreciated.

In addition to the texts, the illustrations of the cylinder seals created by ancient scribes were evaluated. The stone cylinders were prepared by inverting and rolling on wet clay to obtain the images. It was similar to the technology used to develop photographs. Several were identified as representing key events in Mesopotamian history. In particular, there is one cylinder seal of great relevance because the illustration seems to indicate that humans originated through genetic engineering. It is an event that is indisputably reflected in Mesopotamian texts. The topic of the origin of humans through genetic engineering was discussed in detail in the book.

What distinguishes my work is that I can provide references to the Mesopotamian texts, archaeological records, and all the information that I used to support my proposals. No other writer on this subject will be able to provide this information. Readers interested in the subject just need to ask all your questions here on my website or social networks (FB and Twitter), and I will give you an explanation of everything.
